At Fall Fest, the kids got to play several games. There was also a petting zoo, bounce houses, face and hair painting, and a ton of candy. They had a blast.

Rylan's Halloween Party

Here is what we took for the cake walk. It is marshmellows covered in icing. This did not turn out perfectly, but at least they sort of look like ghosts. We brought home a yucky cake from Wal-Mart, but that is what Rylan chose when he got to pick.

Here is Rylan with his friend Chloe. This was her party. They made pumpkin puppets, had a cake walk, made spider cookies, and ate lots of halloween themed treats. They were, of course, all dressed up and very cute.
This is Rylan's other good friend Darby. As you can see, Rylan likes the girls.

Playing and Crawling

As you can see, Brooke is now mobile. She and Rylan love to play in the floor. It is funny to watch him playing with baby toys. It makes me realize just how quickly he is growing up. I can remember too vividly when he was just starting to crawl and playing with these same toys. God Bless!

 

How to have you hair "all sparked up"!

There are actually two reasons that this picture is fuuny. First of all the really "sparky" hair. Second, please notice the nose and forehead. Rylan was pretending to be a snake and carpet burned his face. He hasn't played that since. God Bless!

 

The Party never ends!

We can officially call an end to Ashlynn's birthday celebrations. We had a darling diva party for her and her friend (who's birthday is in November). We did hair, makeup, and nails. They had a great time. I really think that this must be a record for the most birthday celebrations for one year in our family. So till next year....WE ARE CELEBRATED OUT! God Bless!
 

Ashlynns Family Birthday Celebration

Rocky was pretty sure that no one had probably ever taken the waiters photos before. I'm sure that I embarassed them, but it was a kodak moment.

We had a family date tonight to celebrate Ashlynn's 8th birthday. We went to Olive Garden where she got her very own cake and they sang to her. Then we went to the dollar movies to see Barnyard which was sold out, so we settled for Ant Bully (which the kids have already seen). We ended the night with ice cream. She had a great night and still has more celebrating to come. I can't believe that my baby is this old. WOW!

Celebrating Ashlynn's Birthday Early

We got together early with my parents and brothers to celebrate Ashlynn's 8th birthday. We had good weekend. We went shopping and Ashlynn spent her birthday money. She got an awesome new outfit. I can't believe that she is old enough to WANT to get clothes for her birthday. She looks forward to Grandmomma shopping with her. I apperantly have no sense of style. She really is very right. We also got our Halloween costumes. Rylan couldn't wait until Halloween, he had to put it on the minute that we walked into the house. I just hope that it holds up until then because I don't have the heart to not let him play in it. God Bless!
