Rylan woke up so excited Saturday morning. He had decided to have a "blue" birthday party and he could not wait. We had reserved the park for a hot dog cookout (two of his favorites). Unfortunately the weather did not agree with our plans. The day was packed with a forcast of rain and thunderstroms. This is when plan #2 become the only solution. I got up early and hung solid blue tableclothes from ceiling to floor to cover some of our garage "junk" and decided that we could play games in the open side of our garage. Rylan's two aunts and cousin from Abilene came for the party, five friends from the day care were there. His daycare teacher and her sisters decided to join, and Grandmomma,

Dad, both uncles, aunt and cousin were there. We ate hot dogs, played the fishing game, drew with sidewalk chalk, bounced balls into the basket, and played with ballons. Then Rylan blew out his candles on his all blue cake (thank you Grandmomma) and opened presents. Counting adults, there were 24 people in our garage playing dollar store games (thanks to the quick wit of Grandmomma). We all had lots of fun and considering that we had to imporvise, the party was a lot of fun. Thank you to all of the family for the help and for being there for Rylan.
God Bless!
